Senior Export Cable Project Lead

Imagine a future where you’re responsible for managing a complex export cable project

Join us in this role where you’ll be responsible for the supply and termination work on high-voltage export cables. You’ll oversee the cable supply and termination scope and have a unique opportunity to lead a team of experienced engineers. Additionally, you’ll be cooperating closely with colleagues across Europe, the US and APAC.

Welcome to HV Cables

You’ll be part of Export Cable Management where you, together with your colleagues, will be ensuring the highest quality during the design, manufacturing, termination, and testing of export cables in a challenging project. You’ll be involved in all phases of the project, from design to commissioning. We’ve undertaken projects across the globe delivering a portfolio of +3000 km of HV cables. As a team, we share our knowledge with colleagues across projects, embrace diversity, and support your personal development.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • ensuring that the export cable supply and termination scope are on time, of the right quality, and within budget

  • managing the design, manufacturing, and testing of cable products and related accessories

  • handling interfaces with internal and external stakeholders

  • ensuring that department best practices and processes are implemented within the project

  • managing risks, incl. technical, cost, and time-related aspects of scope execution.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have project management experience within the offshore industry such as oil and gas wind, or other relevant experience

  • possess specific project management experience in submarine cable projects; although not a requirement, this will be positively evaluated

  • have an international mindset

  • are an excellent communicator and speak and write English fluently.

Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
