This programme is primarily based in Denmark. You can apply to the trainee program from December 2026.

UK Apprenticeship Program

Do you want to start your career with a role that combines extensive learning with hands-on experience? The Ørsted Apprenticeship Program is designed for people who want to build a strong foundation that will enable future progression in areas such as engineering, management, safety, and project management. This three-year program combines classroom learning and on-the-job experience to teach you how to safely operate and maintain our offshore wind turbines in the UK or further afield.

This program is currently available in the UK (Grimsby and Barrow) on completion of GCSEs or equivalent. Applications for the 2024 Wind Turbine Technician Apprenticeship Program have now closed. 

Applications will open in spring next year.  


Taiwan Apprenticeship Program

The Ørsted Taiwan Apprenticeship Program is designed for second-year bachelor program students at Da-Yeh University (DYU) to obtain the high level of education and experience required to service and maintain safe and efficient operations for our offshore wind turbines in Taiwan and Asia Pacific. 

This program is available in Taiwan to students enrolled at DYU.
