Onshore wind energy

We are increasing America’s domestic energy production and helping ensure the nation’s energy security by harnessing wind power. Operating an onshore wind project:

  • Leverages an unlimited resource – requiring zero fuel cost
  • Generates reliable electricity for decades
  • Produces no emissions or pollution

The onshore wind industry supports more than 130,000 American jobs today and will continue to transform local economies across the U.S. for generations to come.

13 onshore wind farms

We operate 13 onshore wind farms across the U.S., boosting local economies in growing communities.

~$20M a year

We make lease payments to American landowners – around $20 million a year in total.

Partnering with landowners and local communities

With every onshore wind project we undertake, we prioritize the needs of the community and work to deliver benefits to all stakeholders. That begins with landowners. By hosting our onshore wind projects, landowners earn regular, passive income from long-term lease payments. Our wind projects also boost local property tax revenues, supporting infrastructure and emergency services. And as a responsible developer, we maintain the quality of project land at all project stages, preserving soil, wildlife habitats, and natural resources.

Investing in
communities

With each project we build, our goal is to become a part of the neighborhood. That means supporting organizations and businesses to boost the economy, support education, and conserve the local environment.

We developed our successful execution model over decades of experience, and we leverage this expertise in every one of our onshore wind energy projects to generate clean, affordable energy.
