We’ll offer you an intensive two-year learning journey that will allow you to develop your talent, boost your career, and play your part in creating a world that runs entirely on clean energy.
Step closer to a career with a purpose
This is a development program for new graduates who want to step into a fun and challenging role within their field and embark on an intense learning journey. Through our program, we aim to forge innovative future leaders and specialists who’ll shape Ørsted’s journey to being a true catalyst of systemic change towards a greener future.
To qualify for the two-year program, you’ll have graduated with good credentials and have a bachelor’s, master’s, or equivalent degree in business, finance, law, procurement, engineering, science, IT, or another related field.
If this sounds like you, simply apply for one of our graduate positions advertised online. If you’re accepted into the program, you’ll have the unique opportunity of working in two to three different teams at Ørsted, giving you the chance to work on several projects to build your experience and knowledge.
When you’re hired as part of the graduate program, you’re hired on a permanent employment contract from day one. Find out more in the How to apply section.
You’re not chosen as a graduate – you’re hired for a career!
The ideal career kick-starter, this renewable energy graduate program offers structured development and extensive learning and networking opportunities.
During your two or three rotations in different teams, you’ll work with subject matter experts on real projects and tasks, while receiving training on the go.
You’ll meet and interact with your fellow graduates and build a strong network across the organization as well as with other experts within your field.
The program is designed to boost your learning and development within these three areas:
Business experience
This is the backbone of your learning and development, where you’ll apply your expertise to influence day-to-day business decisions. You'll build your capabilities through your two to three rotations, get involved in international project work, and take real responsibility from day one.
Networking
You’ll have a senior career mentor and a buddy, who’ll help you make the most of your talent. Throughout the program, you’ll participate in development sessions with your mentor, buddy, and fellow graduates to support your on-the-job learning. Your mentor will guide, encourage, and challenge you to increase your awareness of your strengths.
Innovation & collaboration
Innovation has made Ørsted a global leader in renewable energy, and we’re constantly looking for ideas that’ll help us improve everything from processes to technology. - Select a position from the list
Select a position you want to apply for. Choose one that appeals to you and is relevant for your area of study. You can apply for several positions in the Ørsted Global Graduate Program, but we recommend you focus your efforts on the roles that best match your skills, education, and interests.
- Prepare your application
Update your CV, obtain a digital version of your most recent grade transcript, and be ready to explain your motivation for becoming an Ørsted graduate. You’ll be asked some screening questions in the job application form, which will help further our understanding of you as a potential graduate.
- Submit your application
Apply online via the relevant graduate job advert. Create an account, fill in the application form, and upload your documents. Remember to upload your most recent grade transcript as a supporting document. You’ll receive a confirmation email shortly after you’ve submitted your application.
- Application review process
We’ll carefully screen all applications, looking for academic achievements, motivation, and mindset. You’ll always hear back from us regardless of the outcome of your application.
- Assessment
If you pass the initial screening round, you’ll be invited to a video assessment, and, if successful, you’ll attend the virtual Ørsted Global Graduate Assessment Day. During the assessment process, we’ll focus on your achievements, your expectations of the program, and how you can make a positive impact at Ørsted. The video screening will be used to supplement the information you give us in your application and at the virtual Assessment Day.
- Timeline and important dates
Due to the number of applications we receive and the various stages of the assessment process, the graduate recruitment process has longer deadlines than a standard recruitment.
The virtual Assessment Day will take place on 16 November.
