QHSE Director for Hornsea 4

Join us in this role where you’ll take the lead of a dynamic team as QHSE Director and be a key player in the new offshore EPC project structure of Hornsea 4, supporting the managing director on all QHSE matters. In this crucial role, you'll develop and execute strategic QHSE initiatives, forge strong relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders, and ensure that the project is delivered with high QHSE standards.
Welcome to Hornsea 4 Offshore Wind Project
You’ll be part of the Hornsea 4 leadership team where you, together with your colleagues, will support the management and the successful delivery of the Hornsea 4 project. You’ll develop, own, and implement the QHSE strategy, lead the delivery of QHSE strategic priorities, and develop and implement QHSE culture programmes for the project. You’ll take a risk-based approach to monitoring, evaluating, and assessing also the contractors’ QHSE behaviour and performance. As a team, we pride ourselves on a high level of professionalism, working closely together and being passionate about developing and sharing best practices.
You’ll play an important role in:
- providing the managing director and the project leadership organisation with QHSE expertise and insights
- continually enhancing QHSE culture and awareness across the project
- leading and managing a multi-discipled QHSE team that’s deployed within the project
- participating actively in continual improvement of protecting people, the environment, assets, and business performance in the project.
To succeed in the role, you:
- have excellent stakeholder management skills, as you’ll be working with multiple stakeholders both internally and externally
- have extensive experience in QHSE leadership
- have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as quality, occupational health and safety, environmental science, engineering, or a related discipline
- have a proven track record in the implementation of corporate QHSE systems
- have proven experience in offshore construction and large-scale renewable projects.
