You’ll be onboarded in our current methodologies, and with initial support of a colleague have your own scopes and responsibilities, working with a wide range of stakeholders to drive industry best Cost Engineering.

You’ll be part of Bid and Cost Excellence where you, together with your colleagues, will be working to bridge the global CAPEX cost engineering discipline with regional Asset projects through development and maturation. Problem-solving and innovation is in our DNA, and you’ll be joining a global team working with both internal and external knowledge and research to improve current methodologies, striving for industry-best practice in a fast-paced and changing environment. You’ll play an important role in:

  • assuming responsibility as the specialist of CAPEX cost estimation, working with scenarios, uncertainties, risks, and opportunities
  • gathering and transforming global knowledge from Engineering, Procurement, and Finance into project specific CAPEX estimates
  • working with the Project Management to develop and validate CAPEX estimates for business case valuation and maturation
  • investigating and advising on the right method and balance between effort and required confidence level, in the context of the individual projects
  • working with the wider Asset Project team to ensure quality and transparency of bid inputs and assumptions, in order to support senior management in decision making on Asset Project CAPEX.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • possess a strong drive and are self-motivated
  • can understand and translate project needs, take decisions, and move things forward
  • have a technical and commercial interest and understanding of offshore wind business case drivers
  • have good communication skills and are able to report methods and results at the appropriate level to a wide group of people from specialist to senior management
  • are energised by working with many stakeholders to solve complex tasks.
