Solution Manager for Trading Express

Imagine a future where you are part of a strong architecture and technology community, ensuring the target architecture for Ørsted’s commodity trading activities.

Join our leadership team and oversee the strategic architecture alignment and technology within the Trading Express IT delivery organization. Together with the Product Manager, you will set the digital strategy for the trading area. Your leadership will make you accountable for the current and future technology stack, ensuring the right technology choices are made to match the set-out architectural runway for commodity trading. You will lead a team of proficient architects and set the technological direction for the 14 agile development teams as part of the Trading Express ART.

Welcome to Architecture & Technology for Trading Express ART

While employed in the Architecture and Technology Competency Center, your daily responsibilities will be as part of the Trading Express leadership team, where you - in close collaboration with the Product Manager, Technical Product Owner, and Release Train Engineer - will constitute the leadership team that steers the future technology for commodity trading in Ørsted. Your direction will be crucial in ensuring that the solutions delivered are aligned with the broader architecture and technology for our business objectives

You’ll play an important role in:

·         Leading the overall tech stack for commodity trading, front- to back office, to ensure it evolves appropriately to enable Ørsted’s trading and revenue activities.

·         Leading the architectural community of application and solution architects within the Trading Express organization.

·         Communicating architectural decisions to stakeholders and guiding architects and teams at all levels.

·         Collaborating with Enterprise, Application, Security, and Infrastructure architects to incorporate company-wide architecture and address challenges, as well as aligning with Ørsted’s architecture and technology strategy.

 

To succeed in the role, you:

·         Have extensive experience in developing architectures and architecture guidelines and designs for large corporations.

·         Are an experienced leader who has managed technical programs, people, larger initiatives, or similar

·         Are familiar with agile frameworks like SAFe®, DevOps and thrives in such a setting.

·         Preferably have former experience within the energy trading or financial sector.
