Strategy and business development

Join us in this role where you’ll be responsible for the team in Bioenergy that matures and executes all CAPEX projects on our Danish CHP portfolio. A key focus will be implementing our carbon capture strategy, alongside projects that support the adaptation of our CHPs to changing heat and electricity market landscapes including the integration of additional assets such as heat pumps, electric boilers, and energy storage technologies.

You’ll be part of Portfolio Optimisation & Projects where you, together with your colleagues, will be responsible for developing the assets in Bioenergy, and more specifically project execution. Your team of experienced project managers executes projects to ensure that we remain among the global leaders in sustainable combined heat and power production. Our project portfolio spans from sustainable biomass CHP production to first of their kind BECCS and district heating electrification. As a team, we are ambitious to deliver on our projects and value collaboration knowledge sharing, caring for our fellow team members setting up the project teams for success.

You’ll play an important role in:

• maturing projects and preparing FID for key stakeholders
• executing on the FID project portfolio and handing over projects to operations after commercial operation is achieved
• ensuring that projects succeed in a safe way within scope, budget, and time schedule
• scoping our project portfolio strategy and motivating and developing the team and their deliveries
• ensuring project execution excellence in team incl. keeping project model updated.

To succeed in the role, you:

• have strong proven interpersonal and management skills
• have strong communication skills and can engage with employees and stakeholders on all levels
• are highly ambitious on behalf on your team’s deliverables while never compromising on psychological and physical safety
• have a desire to work as a team and in close cooperation with your colleagues
• have experience with project management combined with a strong technical and commercial understanding.
