Through an established execution model developed over decades of experience, our solar and storage projects generate clean, affordable energy.
Alabama
  • Muscle Shoals
    Muscle Shoals solar farm is located in Colbert County, Alabama. The project generates 227 megawatts of solar power and includes a long-term power purchase agreement with the Tennessee Valley Authority. Muscle Shoals began commercial operations in September 2021.
Arizona
  • Eleven Mile Solar
    Eleven Mile Solar is a co-located solar and storage project in Pinal County, Arizona. The solar project will have the capacity to generate 300 megawatts of power, enough to power nearly 65,000 annually, while the 300 MW / 1200 MWh storage project will store power for up to four hours each day. Eleven Mile Solar is expected to generate tens of millions in new tax revenue over the project life without adding new costs for services. Tax revenue will benefit Coolidge USD, Casa Grande ESD, Casa Grande UHS, the Central Arizona College, the City of Eloy, the City of Coolidge, and Pinal County. Eleven Mile Solar is expected to begin commercial operations in 2024.
Texas
  • Mockingbird Solar
    Mockingbird Solar is located in Lamar County, Texas. The project will generate approximately 470 megawatts of power, enough to power nearly 80,000 homes annually. It is expected to inject tens of millions of dollars into the local economy over the life of the project, creating a new stream of stable tax revenue for the North Lamar & Chisum Independent School Districts and other taxing entities. As part of this project, Ørsted donated almost 1,000 acres of the of the Smiley-Woodfin Native Prairie Grassland adjacent to the Mockingbird Solar Center to The Nature Conservancy to preserve in perpetuity. Mockingbird Solar is expected to begin commercial operations in 2024.
  • Permian Energy Center
    The Permian Energy Center is located in Andrews County, Texas. The project generates 420 megawatts of solar power, enough electricity to power 80,100 homes. Permian Energy Center began commercial operations in May 2021.
  • Old 300 Solar
    Old 300 Solar Farm is located in Fort Bend County, Texas. The project generates 430 megawatts of solar power, enough electricity to power 74,600 homes. It will also provide millions of dollars in landowner payments and property taxes for local communities.
  • Helena Energy Center
    The Helena Energy Center is located in Bee County, Texas, and is comprised of co-located solar and wind generation. The project will generate 250 megawatts of solar power, enough electricity to power 50,000 homes. It will also provide tens of millions of dollars in landowner payments and property taxes for local communities.
